I literally just swapped my second one out this weekend.  I bought one about 2-3 years ago.  It was a demo.  About a year later the rim cracked on the sides by the seat mounts.  I took it to a dealer and they swapped it out no questions asked.  Then just this weekend, this one (after about a year or more) cracked in the front of the cockpit rim, right around the very front edge.  Took it to a different dealer, and they swapped it out no questions asked.  The new one is much heavier around the cockpit rim, more like my habitat, so I expect no more problems with this one.

People have complained about WS about this but IMO they realize there was a manufacturing error and have gone out of their way to make it right at all turns with me.  I have never once had to argue or twist any one's arm.  Both of these boats were a year or more old and they swapped out with new ones.  I know for a fact not all manufactureres would have done that.   I had a defective paddle once, and it did get replaced about 2 months later, but not on the spot like WS has done.

I am glad WS has stepped up here because the EZG is my favorite all around boat and I give them big credit for standing behind things when there is a mistake.
