I currently paddle a Solo and had the Mini Mystic on a local class 3-ish run for a day. I'm 5'1", 130lbs with real short legs.
Both of these boats are great creekers. The Mystic is faster and sleeker, whilst the Solo will turn on a dime and resurface super quick. The Mystic has a much lower profile than most other creekers and rolls really easily. The initial stability is better on the Solo and both have good secondary stability. The Mystic ferried extremely well due to its low height and speed. The Solo has a lovely hull with soft edges that feel great when using features to ferry. Didn't boof the Mystic but the Solo boofs well as you can reach so far forward towards the bow.
The thing I didn't like about the Mystic was the seating position. My legs were just too straight. I was getting used to it by the end of day but it didn't really gel with me. The thigh braces felt fine and I love the Blissstick back bands (I have one in my Solo).
I have the original Solo so the outfitting sucks. I've just put the newer thigh braces in and they should be a big improvement. It is not a fast boat but it accelerates well. I have the seat all the way forward on mine and that tends to prevent the bow from rising enough when going through holes. You have to the paddle the Solo pretty aggressively too or it can spin out.
Anyway, if she is more slender than me, and is used to having hers legs a little straighter, I'd bet she'd love the Mystic.
My Solo is nearing it's end and hopefully I'll be trying a Punk Rocker soon.
