He doesnt offer a ruling on the 0' feather debate(no "off side" rolls) one way or the other.  NOC Instruction has been experimenting with no offset for going on 3 seasons now.

Do you think this theory holds water?  Sorry for the pun. 

RE Offsets - Obviously wind resistance isnt a concern 99% of the time, so I guess it just comes down to what wrist alignment feels best for each paddler.  I have noticed though that most manufacturers have shifted from a std 45 deg offset to a 30deg, so there is a downward trend in feather angles.  FWIW. 

I know a few folks who still paddle with a 90deg, probably more than anything else, a factor of dancin with the one that brung ya.
