Maytag section of the North Yuba (aka Goodyear's Bar) has several IV's in it,. but nothing too drastic and you can easily portage Maytag (V) itself.  The Upper Sacramento has a couple of sections with IV action (again with one rapid easily missable that some consider a V).  The Merced has some nice continuous action from the 140 bridge down to Cranberry, plus some III-IV action lower down (Briceburg to the campground right downstream from IV Corner Pocket).  Those would all be good places to take the next "step up" from Chili Bar, and you can always run Chili Bar at high water, at which time both Meatgrinder and Troublemaker become IV.

These are all very enjoyable runs, and readily accessible.

If you can do all those comfortably, you're probably ready for a whole lot of other stuff with V's in it.
