I'm just going to throw this out there, but I have paddled the ammo and nitro, while they are great boats, they really don't live up to a do everything rep.  For someone your size (I'm 5'11 and now 190 although I was 220 lately) I really love the SCUD.  It is the ultimate Gauley boat as it busts through holes and surfs waves like the RAD and gets the biggest air in holes I've ever done.  And it really excels on tight creeks.  I've put my dad in it on classic class IV runs, new creekboaters in it for their first runs down the green (coming from playboats), etc.  You should really give it a try before you make a choice.

That said, Stephen is right about the hero which looks to be the closest of the new boats that came out trying to get a piece of the SCUD market (ie ammo, nitro) it actually has a fast playboat hull and plenty of volume which is what makes the SCUD so fun to paddle especially comming from a playboat.  I'd say try them both because the hero looks great but man I really love the SCUD and would recommend it anyone.
