A lot of bad conditions had to happen to put Dave in that hole, and a lot of good luck put you in a position to help, but the reflex or decision, to help your fellow man was all yours, and your actions were heroic.  A family still has their father because of you.  I salute you.

Dave, it is your life to live, but you have been given a second chance at it.  Please contemplate the lessons offered.  You are loved and needed in this world.
