Obviously, I can't thank you guys enough, and you're totally right about the poor decisions I made that day.  When everything is going so well, it's easy to get overconfident.  I try to avoid situations that would require assistance from others, but in this case I didn't think it through enough, and didn't have enough knowledge about the drop.  The first boater and I also didn't wait long enough for the rest of our group to get in position.  I feel very fortunate that you guys just happened to be there.

Thanks for relating the rest of the story, too.  As much as anything else, I feel bad about putting your group in that situation.  I hope I'll run into you guys soon under better circumstances.
