It's plenty playful.  I always tell people that I can any of the tricks I can do in the Fun, I can do them Clean in the All Star.  I find that the Fun is easy to get on challanging waves, gives me more room for error and recovery, and is just more comfortable for a longer day or longer flatwater section.

All Star is awesome and paddles very well for a aggressive Play Kayak.  But, some times Play kayaks have hold-ups too.  Like boat speed, how fast they resurface, and some times it's fit.

For myself at a 190 lbs.  I felt a little between sizes in the All Star and Super Star.  I know Clay would suggest the Super Star, more pop and all.  But, the Fun fit that size perfect for me and it plays great.  Give the Fun a chance it's one of the best paddling kayaks ever built.  I can feel myself improve every time I paddle it.
