I'm specificaly only looking at JK. I like their simple design. While I would love to get a dedicated, high performance playboat, the Fun series will play pretty well while having some characteristics that would help me in big water play. I tore my labrum and seperated the AC joint in my right shoulder last Oct. I'm mostly in my Critical Mass these days but there are days that I just want to hop in my playboat and go have fun on a playable class 3-4 run without worrying if the boat's going to be too squirrly. I also want something that will let me rip up every playspot, rock, drop, wave-train, log, etc. that I can.
I really like DR boats but There's nothing in the line-up that does that for me at 190lbs (without gear). I wish the stinger was a little bigger because I love it, I just sink the little boat. I don't like the thruster or the fish, the pin tail is too much of a river runner for me and the squash, while FUN isn't what I'm looking for either.
