One assisted shuttle is not the cause of obesity and laziness in this country, particularly after running a few miles down a river. That kind of thinking is along the same lines as some of the bad personal trainers that my brother talks about at his gym, who just yell at the out of shape and push them too hard to get any real benefit (and often just scare them away from the gym forever)
People can't go from couch potato to elite athlete overnight. How about giving the weekend warriors (which most boaters are) a little bit of slack? At least they are outside doing something. Probably taking valuable time off from family and work to enjoy the day. Don't rain on their parade.
I walked my boat out at Panther Creek with an injured back. I'm not going to take a lower view of anyone who used the Uhaul. As a matter of fact, I feel kind of stupid for not rememering a $5 bill. It would have been much easier on my back if I didn't have to carry that boat.
