They both had outfitting didn't they - Seats and walls (plastic ones in the R5, foam ones in the hollowform, But the hollowforms were crap and fell over - it was a death trap.

The R5, I believe beat the Hollowform to the punch in being the first plastic boat out, but was made in obscure Quebec and not the USA, so it's numbers were far lower. That being said, its STILL in production (as a touring boat) today - so it's been in production since 1971 - 36 years!!!
