I'm sure we can all agree that certain boats changed the face of kayaking forever and a few others were so horrible as to be life threatening. But what about those boats when we look back in the boat vault almost had that industry changing design feature. For example, when I had my Hurricane, the Supersport was perceptions hot playboat. Unfortunatly, no ever says they wished they had their old SS back, but we often see accolades heaped upon the Hurricane. What's wrong with the SS? Same goes for the boats that were around when the X was on the scene. What 2nd place boats were almost great?
