It's not like the competition jacket. It has latex neck and wrist gaskets just like the rest of the other dry suits out there. I don't know what type material it's made of but you never get cold in it. I paddled one day this past winter in 35 deg temps and the wind blowing 30 mph. My hands became numb ,but my body was as warm as toast. I've since bought some poggies. Look it up under their web site. I think they show  the features on it.
