For me, it's an 12 hours drive each way.  So I come once or twice a season, that's it.  I'm sure many others are the same way.  Imagine planning a trip for weeks, then showing up and seeing that there's no water - here or anywhere.

If crowding is an issue - schedule releases for one weekend in a month or so.  But don't leave people high and dry.
