As boaters our primary interest should be whats best for the river, NOT how many runs you're able to get in on it!!!  Im local, work 7am-5pm Mon.-Fri., and depend on weekend releases. However, i feel any scheduled release will prove to be a huge mistake! It would only further aggrevate access to the put-in, not to mention greater strain on the gorge's ecosystem.  I dont care who you are, local or not, more people creates more problems, period!  10 yrs. ago access wasnt the issue it is today. As our sport progresses, it attracts more people... what will access be like in another 10yrs??? Also, imagine owning a home on the rds. to/from the put-in/take-out, watching all these arseholes drive up and down those rds (all day long) on scheduled releases- it'd be a freakin zoo - I'd be pissed!!! Seriously folks, we need to think about the future of this gem, and how the decisions we make today will effect the river tomorrow!!! If we are not careful, we could seriously F' things up for everyone reguardless if they boat the narrows or not!

That said, i agree we as a community need to come together on this issue.  Im all for limiting night releases, and doing away with 60% all together!
