If it were not for Woody making peace with the landowners and setting up the current key system, every Narrows boater would have to put in at Tuxedo Hydro and run (horror of horrors) 3.5 miles of pleasant class II-III water before hitting the Gnarrrs.  This would suck however for those of us who run the Upper Green, as we would have to share the river with a bunch more boaters (I'm just kidding here folks!).

The main reason it would suck it would eliminate our option of paddling the Upper Green. Since I have been doing that for about 20 years, before anyone even started running the Gnarrs, I would be a very unhappy camper if that happened. So I say be thankful for the Green River Access Fund.
