Were you there? Did you hear first hand what was discussed and by whom??? I don't think it is a crime for people that have moved to the Green River area principally for recreating on it (be it paddling or fishing) to be really concerned with what is going on, is it? As a matter of fact, the people that have started this issue (fisherman) are in fact, just as local as the local paddlers that you seem so fond of calling out. It is certainly a more relevant issue to people that use the Green most often, don't you think? Do you think that people who use the river three times a year have as much to lose as the people who live and work here? Yes, I do understand that if people could plan on it, they might use it more frequently but it still effects the people that live here way more than those that don't. That is a fact, like it or not. No different than locals dealing with road construction every day en route to work, they have to deal with slow downs and ill effects way more than the visiting businessman does. Please don't infer that all opinions don't count, just saying they are effected way more.. Paddlers, local land owners and a myriad of others were out in pretty good numbers last night. It was a great forum where they voiced there own opinions and listened to the other opinions with open minds and a solid plan that was voted on by all present, was set in place. What is up with trying to make this a local paddlers versus the rest of paddlers shit? You seem to be really concerned with Green River issues Tony, which is awesome. I hope you are helping the cause with support of the Green River Access Fund, because without it we would not have many of the conveniences we enjoy now, reguardlesss of whether you are a local or not.
