Good play in Austin at Longhorn Dam.  Some creeking (Blanco Narrows in Skully's first photo), possibly even Mexican Creek in a couple weeks if the rain keeps up.  The Pedernales has been up a few times lately (big water fun).  The Paluxy near Waco keeps coming up (good play).  Night time play under the lights (or in the morning) at Rio Vista in San Marcos (too crowded during the day).  Hopefully the Guadalupe will come up again (5k) for excellent play at 4th crossing.  If the rain keeps up there are numerous other possibilities (Barton Creek in Austin and many others).  Like DonVito said, if you make it down here check out paddletexas.com to see where folks are going.  Or feel free to give me a call and I can get you in touch with people in Central Texas that are going somewhere almost every day lately.
