I am thinking about getting into more overnighters.  And, one of the 1st things I am going to buy is a new sleeping bag.  Though I know Down is probably the lightest.  And, even though it will  be in some sort of dry bag, Down is of course the most affected by moisture.  What are your thoughts and experience with this choice?  Is down or synthetic the way to go.  I am not rich at all.  But money aside, what is the best kind of bag for kayaking overnighters?
