Check out images of Salida and Lawsons in Colorado . . they make do with very little CFS to provide outstanding play features for all abilities.

Salida was made by Gary Lacy and a solid local crew though many of Gary's holes / courses have proved to shallow to play.  

I believe Risa Shimoda represents a group ACSI, who are doing play parks

Also Nick Turner (WRSI helmets) is producing some in Co.
