	I met Paul about three years ago one a trip to The Upper Yough. I paddled with him on and off for two years showing him some of the runs in the Northeast. At the time he was living and working in New york city. Paul was a bit of a contradiction. A country boy who enjoyed the city (At least for awhile.) He move back down south last summer. Paul was an awesome boater. And a better person. Very low key except when we were on the river where he always sprouted a big smile. I know that he was not a reckless boater and I am very curious as to what, where and how this tragedy happened. If anyone has current details on his family and any arrangements please contact me.
