Great advice. I've not run it in two years partly because I don't think my physical conditioning is where it used to be.

Another important thing he said that I would like to reiterate is mental conditioning. Fear and excessive adreniline is a mind killer. If you can keep your mind calm and to some extent out of the loop, you body knows what to do. I've run everything in there (except 40/40)with no flips, backward runs, or crashes anywhere, but I've also carried Wintergreen and Birth Canal when I felt my mind wasn't in the right place. Work on developing a calm mind and listen to it. Clay's advice about on-sighting is great practice.
