You'll love it of course... but the speed is intense. Like a S. Silver with many drops the size of Oceana. Some cont. class 4+ w bit of mank, like Brush or Tule. Steep slick portages.
Has any C-1 been down? I reccommend serious padding and gloves for your knuckles, since you'll be dragging your 'right blade' a lot. Tightly fitting elbow pads for sure. The bounce of rapid Transit but size of Oceana but longer drops and with poor to no rescue squad access.
Low water runs are bouncier but so much easier overall - plus the rock is drier on portages. Rainy day, on the rise bumps it up considerably.
Problem is, the neck / back injuries that 'might' / will eventually happen will be a nightmare to deal with for party AND probably involve rescue squad / park help at the road. Could easily get dark during evac. This will threaten future access to this place because no one will want to carry someone on those portages and I don't know of any 'up and out' access points in the heart of the gorge.
A good thing would be for Pat / ChrisG / Adam or somebody to hike it and find the 'evac' routes to publicize or at least share within boating community.
Raven's may be just as hard (though different) and high quality but access much easier. I would go to HP, Ravens, then when that's going well try Tox. Most of it's not technically hard, just fast, but the location changes the game.

PS - Good helmet and breakdown a MUST.
