Where is your answer to that? What about the trashed campsites RIGHT ON THe RIVER BANK? Where does all that trash end up at high water? What about the trampled undergrowth at campsites, the trash, the hacked trees? This is your idea of conservation? What study is the FS doing exactly? They are not counting the number of current users, that is not a part of the study. All the study is about is boaters, anglers, counting cars in parking lots & "surveying" trails & litter. Why not do a complet study? It is a lame study that does not address issues confronting this resource you claim to be helping. AW filed a lawsuit because Sumter dragged it's feet & came up with an assine study that does not address all users. Even the "expert panel" study is flawed. Paddle 21 miles of river on a moments notice & dump some anglers in regardless of level. Please, it is an insult. You are all boaters? Prove it, do something positive for the river instead of divisive.
