question AT paddle sizing?
Forum: BoaterTalk
I'm looking for a new AT paddle. My short 194cm playstick just doesnt quite reach the water in my new battleship sized creeker. I'm looking at 200cm+ .

So my question is as the paddle length increases for AT's, where does the extra length come from?

Between the grips? So the straight shaft section is longer and grip distance is wider?
Between the grips and the blade?

Or a combination?

I know the ATX and AT2 variants have a slightly different bend/grip shape. Does the sizinge distribution apply the same to both? I'm really looking to buy an ATX for the increased blade size.

I'm looking for more reach, not just a wider span between my hands.

Thanks for any info.
