I was wondering if anybody has any advice on how to repair cross link plastic. I am aware that you can not weld it, and have also heard to use bituthene. I have researched this product a little, and can only find huge rolls of it for expensive.The boat is a jackson fun 1 1/2, and paddled by a six year old on class 1 and 2. It does not have to be bomber, just dryish. they wear their skirts so loose that they are never completely dry anyway. Not to mention the swimming. The boat is 8 years old, so warranty is not an option, nor is it a manufacture defect. Simply a well used boat. There is one crack under the seat, and one around the cockpit. Anyhow, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
