should be one of the closest places to paddle class IV and be able to find paddlers and gear. You could probably rent a boat from Rodrigo (hes got a hostel next to Gina's restaurant) or from small world about 50 min away. Either way its about 6 hr? bus ride from Quito, but on the bright side its only $6.50 if my memory serves me correctly.
