I used to really like another brand of skirt, then I decided to try a SEALS and see what the fuss was about. In my case, since I am not an especially aggressive paddler, so I got the Pro Shocker; and have had the same experience: zero leakage. I also like the aramid reinforcements, kinda like the old Mountain Surf skirts. Got one for my wife, too. My 1.7 fits both my Remix 79 and my Project X 64; her 1.4 fits both her Remix 59 and her Trigger. Just sayin'.
