i never meant to come across as advocating noobs putting in right below baby. what i thought id included, but obviously didn't, was that after you'd had your fun, and the noobs were changed and sufficiently impressed, that you'd pull your boat out and go run the MIDDLE with them. sorry. and yes, above baby is fine for relative beginners as long as they have a roll- ive even taken some down without one at low water (once)- but many are scared s***less at the sight of vertical drops.
