I am going to the Nantahala River this weekend in my new kayak! This will be my second trip to the river. Last year I floated down in a raft with a guide and didnt think the river was that bad except the last couple of rapids. I will be with someone else who has been down a couple of times in a kayak but she has just been kayaking for a year. Any advice on the river would be much appreciated!! Camping at Brookside Campground for the first time. Anyone stayed there?
