Reading all of Doug Ammons essays about the cutting edge of what people are paddling got me thinking about boat design. It seems that most every big jump in the difficulty of what we run Or moves we make was fueled by new boat designs that allowed us an advantage we didn't have before.... But what is left for boat designs now? I can't imagine that we could make any better of a creek boat, or a play boat that plays better than what technology has already given us now. It seems like we have gone through a lot of designs and finally setteled in on the best few.

So where do we go next? Just pondering the future. Shane? Corran? Clay? Anyone?
