When i first got my nomad, I had trouble rolling it, it was sloppy and I felt like i had to jerk to get up, and I would slap my paddle against the water. Normally when doing a C to C in most kayaks, I set up reach my paddle out, and start pulling with my hips, and stroking down at about the same time, but with the nomad it doesn't work that way. i would set up, and because the boat naturally starts to roll up when you tuck out to the side, it would make my paddle be higher out of the water, and when I hip snapped, My paddle would have to much air between the blade and the water, so I would slap it. So I learned to hold my paddle lower, where it's on the water and not above it, and I wait a lot longer before starting the stroke, the hip snap gets me most the way up, and then the paddle is more like bracing to get my body out of the water. Once I learned to adapt to the nomads rolling style, I've found it personally easier to roll then any boat i've rolled, The Mamba, Diesel, Stomper, All star, Mutant, Rocker, etc
