I have seen mostly negative reception and ridicule of various paddling related self expression, such as Demshitz sign language antics and several paddling lifestyle apparel operations such as Team Scum and others.

There be some haters out there who can't seem to stand it when somewhat tries to create new slang or express something about the way they engage the whole culture that surrounds our sport.

Jargon is a set of vocabulary related to a particular activity. when was it set in stone that all the ridiculous words we use in our paddler lingo/jargon was maxed out and no new slang could be created?

I personally would like to encourage all you boaters out there both young and old, seasoned and novice, to get excited about the sport and express how you feel. be excited about your friends enthusiasm and show your love of paddling and Rivers by having fun. and at the very least don't diss other people cause they are having fun and expressing themselves.
