Thanks - my question is how to best consciously "initiate" a hip snap? I've always just "done it"

I don't think about doing a hip snap, I just do it. However some folks have said my hip snap isn't strong. I think you may be more on target that I just don't do it at the right time. I will be taking Tera's suggestion about using hand paddles and that will help, but any suggestions for "consciously" hip snapping will be greatly appreciated!
