Truth be told, I've always tried to stay away from drama. In past lives, its always managed to find me, though. Then I moved here and started fresh with no storms brewing around me. Now, I have zero drama. I avoid it like the plague. Thing is, to your point, I bring your "knee jerk" reaction on myself, no doubt. I sometimes like to take little things that happen to me and blow them waaaay out of proportion on BT...makes for an interesting/entertaining read. Its a little like "the boy that cried wolf" though, I suppose. Sort of a "here we go again". But those that know me know this and take it all completely in stride, never blink and enjoy the show......
