We were out at Dupont State Park Forest-Triple Falls and noticed a family with their dog running around unleashed. I sat there watching and realizing it was going to be moments before it went over. Then suddenly it was caught in the current and struggled to get to shore. It hit the first part of the falls got shot over into a tight channel. Then is got tumbled and tossed around like a rag doll. Went all the way down into an eddy and climbed out. Amazing it survived at all. My poor family who were out of town had to watch such stupidity. The family did not see the how bad the dog got beat up until we went down there and spoke to them. They we trying to take care of their dog while their kids still sat right next to the edge acting stupid. I guess they will never learn.
