everything you want can be done with the axiom. that's why i bought it.

when i first started boating, i had an RPM Max and ran everything thing in it: upper yough, upper gauley, WV creeks, ect. i felt it had enough cockpit room and the boat could handle about anything i threw at it. then i went to an EZ and the thing was to go with smaller boats. however, i never forgot how fun and forgiving that RPM design was and i'm not the only one that felt that way.

so when i started hearing about the axiom, i learned that they had borrowed from the RPM design but with a planing hull and i had to get one. i had a contact for getting hold of a demo early, so i got on the axiom train early. i love the boat and have creeked in it (tellico mostly) and its awesome on the ocoee (can catch big waves that are hard to catch). i've taken it on the gauley and it did great there.

my two boats now are the axiom (biggest one) and a mamba 8.5, but i've owned many, many others and frankly other than the RPM that mamba is the best boat i've ever owned, followed up by the axiom.

more than happy to meet you on the ocoee sometime if you want to try out the axiom. i tried the super fun and really liked it. i think my next boat purchase is probably going to be a short playboat again and its likely it will be a jackson.

good luck
