The elites are cross-linked which is stronger i.e. more abrasion resistant, and the boat will be a couple of pounds lighter. Super linear is what everyone else (except Prijon/Eskimo) uses, the so-called industry standard. Unlike cross-linked, it can be welded back together with heat if it cracks, and once its life is up, it can be melted down recycled as other linear products. With the Jacksons, you also get a lower level of outfitting with the superlinear boats--no happy feat, happy seat--that some people find they actually prefer.
