We had this discussion on a creek trip a while back because we had to find a lost boat that had a set of keys in it. We found the boat and the keys, but it could have sucked. Come to find out that about half the drivers in our flotilla were keeping their keys in their boats.
Do you
- keep 'em in your boat (even if in a drybag or clipped to your air bags or something) - attach 'em to your PFD or drytop or to the clothing you're wearing - hide 'em on the car - leave 'em in the ignition so that somebody will steal that POS? - keep a spare set under the car in addtion to the ones on your boat/vest? - other?
I'll start. I keep mine in a pocket on my PFD with a tiny biner to keep it there. It's extra incentive for paddling buds to pull me out of the drink if I go swimming. |
