	i didn't think i did anything out of line. the spot isn't that bad, the current wasn't that bad either, and i could bail if i needed to. those jabronies were going to be there all day with that raft, so i helped them out. plus, i figured it was better for me to attach a rope while in my kayak than let one of them get roped over there and try to put a rope on the raft (which they were getting ready to do and was a main reason i stepped in). either way, i assesed the situation and felt it was safe enough to do what i did, and i did it. peace, jon
