Hi all. I've been totally flooded with emails of support. I REALLY appreciate hearing from each and every one of you. There were three emails of constructive criticism as well, which had good points and were noted. There were also quite a few apologies. I didn't expect that, but I thank you.
I would like to share the following article which was forwarded to me today. It's powerful.
All Americans are asked to display the American flag either in their homes or cars. Let's keep the meaning of UNITED in "United States". Pass this on to as many people as you know.
I have closed the BT forums until the weekend out of respect for the 5000 or so people who have died this week as a result of the attacks. There are those on the board who cannot seem to handle themselves as civilized humans, and I personally am disgusted. I have two friends still missing. I consider some of what has been posted very disturbing. I'm very proud to be an American but when I read some of what has been written in the past days, I'm not surprised we have been attacked. Evil begets evil. Perhaps this is an opportuity to learn to live together, but I already know this lesson is lost on some. You are welcome to voice your opinions elsewhere during the BT forum closure, but I will not stand for the memory of the 5000 or so victims being dirtied by the unthinking and uncaring, so out of repect for them, I prefer to close down posting until things have cooled off a bit. I hope those of you who are not problem children understand and I personally apologize to you for the shutdown.
All the pictures...in one spot. The mutha load...
For those of us who have never been to a trade show like this, OR is a little much. It combines the flavor of your local county fair (minus the sawdust in all the walkways) with the business atmosphere of a commodities pit on the New York Stock Exchange and a hungover breakfast joint on the strip in Las Vegas, all wrapped up in what looks like the biggest gear shop you could possibly imagine. It's a lurid nightmare in garish neon tones, chock-full of people running the business that produces endlessly fascinating gear possibilities. God BLESS these conventions... and thank God no innocent civilians were allowed in- things could have gotten ugly.
We went back in again today to tie up some loose ends and get a little more infrmation. We met with Seven 2: "Rumors of my death have been greatly exagerated" as they say. Also, photos from Wave Sport and Bliss-stick and further elaboration on Riot's nice new outfit.
OK, you've seen the photos... now read the text...
Excuse the mistakes, I want to get out to the Confluence party...
A first look at the photos that I will be using to do the Riot Teckno write up and explaination of the new Riot outfitting.
